After hacking the Willow short puff sleeve into a long version, my lovely customers and followers on Instagram asked for it to be turned into an add-on sleeve pattern, so here it is!

The Willow is a great beginner sewing pattern. It is the perfect all-year-round, transitional sewing pattern that will see you through all seasons. Make in a gingham seersucker for the ultimate beach look, try in a heavier checked flannel for wintery days or go all out and make in a soft velvet for the ultimate Christmas party dress! If romantic, whimsical, and feminine dresses are your thing then this pattern is for you!

Sewing Level: Beginner

Size Range: From B76cm (30”), W61cm (24”), H86cm (34”) to B150cm (59”), W134.5cm (53”), H160cm (63”). Each size is given a generic letter, so we don’t make meaning out of the number we cut.

Height: This pattern has been drafted for someone who is 165cm (5’5”) tall. You may want to shorten or lengthen the bodice and sleeve pieces where indicated.

Recommended Fabrics: This pattern is ideal for light to medium weight, non-stretch woven fabric such as viscose, linen, shirting, cotton lawn, jacquard, velvet, gingham, tencel etc. Structured fabric like cotton lawn will have more dramatic volume on the puff sleeve and fluid fabrics like viscose will have more drape for the flute sleeve. 

Notions: Thread, 0.6cm (¼”) elastic for the hem of the puff sleeve.
